Sunday, June 18, 2017 - Sumptuously sweet, fruity and silky tannin
The wine is still deep purple in colour, and there is no significant sediment. Still very young despite it is 14 years old
On the nose, it reveals licorice, tobacco and sweet black fruits. Its aroma improves significantly with two hours of decanting.
The palate is smooth. The medium acidity balanced the silky tannin.
Overall, it is incredibly sweet and has lots of finesse. If you like its generous sweetness, you won't regret opening a bottle now.
