Friday, July 14, 2017 - Not sure 5 years from vintage makes it particularly "old" but it sure shows that wood. The nose has retained some rather pleasant vanilla, apricot, and candied almond notes, while the palate has butterscotch, pineapple, vanilla, canned peaches, and a nice richness on the palate ... Acidity seems to be dissipating so it's a wine to consume sooner rather than later.
