Saturday, August 19, 2017 - I was very excited to get my hands on a bottle of this, at last, thinking who better to make "white" zin than my favorite zinfandel producer? So this review and rating might be more about my disappointed expectations than the wine. That said, it is very dry, think tart cranberry, and certainly improves with food--it's strong acid core and low alcohol help it pair with fatty grilled salmon, say.
