Saturday, August 19, 2017 - AA's wedding; 8/17/2017-8/19/2017 (Fremont, CA): Rich gold color in the glass.
Lovely botrytis mixed with new oak on the nose - sweet cinnamon, clove, wax, and saffron. Rich, honeyed aroma, with hints of tart apricot and Meyer lemon fruit.

On the palate, sweet (feels 130-150g), elevated alcohol (14%), medium plus acid - bright but not as strong as, say, the '01 de Fargues.
Sweeter and riper style, in the context of Sauternes. En-point aromatics.
