Saturday, September 2, 2017 - Transparent, medium dark garnet. Mature aromas of stewed black beans and shiitake form the background for balsam-infused plum and macerated black raspberry. Satiny, rounded tannin and medium acid is fully integrated. Discreet barnyard and balsamic notes remain on the finish. This wine is currently a little past peak, but still offers abundant drinking pleasure.
