Sunday, October 1, 2017 - Tasted from 375... pretty, red fruited nose with just a touch of candied fruit, and oak notes that are integrating aromatically. The palate is much more marked by the oak, more so than I recall from prior bottles. The finish is dry with oak tannins. I remain hopeful for this improving down the line (and I have more in the cellar), but too woody for me to really enjoy right now.
