Thursday, October 5, 2017 - Big hit of red fruit—cherry—on entry. Much more than I get from other Ridge bottlings. Still stiff tannin provides nice backbone. Good acid. A good wine, but I think I like my Zins to be a tad less “civilized.” This one seems to be “reined in.”
