Thursday, October 5, 2017 - Really like this wine from the 'boot' of Italy. The Verdeca grape is planted in an interesting pattern called sextonce - with each vine being the middle of a hexagon; lots of sun and good underground water source so the wines don't stress producing a nicely balanced with the chalk and mineral aspects; nice body with apple flavors, long finish. Crisp and delicious.
