Wednesday, October 11, 2017 - Chicago 2004 Krug Presentation (The Roof Crop): A very interesting contrast to the Vintage 2004 tasted side-by-side. Much more open and harmonious, as you might expect but not a simple pushover by any means. The aromatics are layered with so much going on -- apple, citrus, baked bread. The palate has youthful richness with sweet apple fruit. Excellent cut and poise. This is so delicious right now.
