Tuesday, October 24, 2017 - Dinner at Lucky Cantonese Private Dining: Pretty yummy. The nose was pretty attractive - blueberries, earth, some spice, a twist of herb. Classic Bonnes Mares, and very attractive. There was not a trace of green on the palate, just sweet notes of blueberries, spice and a touch of powdered herbs, all integrated into a compact, muscular package, with plenty of power pushing on into a full, blueberry filled finish. Quite a lovely drop without ever being a truly memorable wine.
