Saturday, November 4, 2017 - While still an enjoyable claret, this has seen it's best day. Base of neck fill, cork came out in one piece thanks to my Durand. Nice gamey nose with a slight floral twist. After initial decant was a little lean but filled out after about 15-20 minutes. Tannin has mostly resolved and fruit is tough to find. Paired with a NY strip steak and matched well and actually brought out nice notes of the wine. Drink up if you have some, this isn't going to get any better
