Sunday, November 19, 2017 - For a 26 year old wine really amazing youthfulness and freshness. Yes, there are some hints of (over-)maturity, if you really want you can detect some cardboard notes. But this really doesn't reduce the fun. The bright red fruit is there, still good acidity and a long fruity finish. The structure still holds quite well. That said it was probably never the most complex or "deep" burgundy, rather on the fruity-easy going side. And this it still is.
