Saturday, April 5, 2008 - Not decanted. Deep, virtually opaque purple red color to the rim. Intense aromas of clove, cinnamon, plums and berries on first whiff. Later this settled into why I consider classic SL PS - plums, some cassis, blueberries, mint and blood. Deep and fruit-filled on the palate with no tannins to speak of. Less oak than I recall from other vintages. Moderate finish. Nice wine.
