Thursday, December 14, 2017 - Nose of strawberry jam on cornbread, mushrooms, tar, and garrigue. The fruit is a little more pronounced on the nose now compared to when I last had it 3 years ago. Light in weight, delicious mature strawberry jam fruit. A masculine lining of tarry horse stable floats across and lingers on a long finish. Absolutely none of the 'hot vintage' worries are displayed in this wine. This was the first CdP I ever had, and it is still a favorite.
