Monday, January 1, 2018 - This pinot is aging beautifully! Dark ruby color. The nose is lush with dark red fruit and some warm spices. The first sip is a bit sweet followed by dark red cherries, plums, pepper and mild vanilla - we just love Halleck wines. Had this with our New Year's Day dinner of confit turkey legs with traditional black eye peas and chard.
