Saturday, April 19, 2008 - a fabulous nebbiolo, especially considering the $18 price point. ruby colored with light edges. this has mushrooms, violets and a distinct green note on the nose, which is actually quite nice. almost a bell pepper. after being decanted for a few hours, this is still very tannic. but it shows bold flavors of tar, sour cherries and earth, all balanced with strong tannins and acidity. long finish.
