Saturday, December 17, 2016 - Nose: The nose is explosive, deep, layered, and refined with red cherries, spice box, leather, herbs, violets, roses, tobacco leaf, and cedar tones. This is pure class on the nose with the aromas just captivating you on every sniff.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ tannins and medium acidity. The feel was regal and pure satin with red cherries, spice box, violets, roses, cedar, and tobacco leaf tones.

Overall: This was glorious. This is what people talk about when they talk about the greatness of a First Growth. The storage was so amazing that this was just from a half bottle and it was blind. While it was clearly Bordeaux, it was tough to tell the age on it. A truly memorable experience.

8/21/2018 7:25:00 AM - It was a pop and pour 375. It did keep growing with air, but there were also 5 of us sharing it. The retailer who opened it did it on a lark!
