Friday, February 2, 2018 - First sip some weeks ago was by coravin, now opened the whole bottle, still young, the nose is showing aromas of herbs, some soil, slightly tobacco, on the midpalate more elegant than concentrated, with some slow ox quiet balanced and harmonic, for me more red than black fruit, earthy though, long finish, this is a very good Montrose, but there are better ones from other vintages, may and will improve over the next decade+, **(*+ -?), 89-91+ potential
