Sunday, February 11, 2018 - Perfect level, but fairly loose cork, and the wine spurted up through the corkscrew on opening. Immaculate heavy duty capsule must have preserved the contents despite this. Lovely lightish colour. Nose of roses and brambles, palate predominantly acidic, and initially quite short. After an hour, nose becomes more intense, and interesting briar flavours develop, with tertiary old furniture elements contributing to considerable length and complexity. But now it seems that it has further to travel. A very interesting bottle.
