Friday, February 16, 2018 - Decanted for 3-4 hours, clean wine with slight browning on the edges, leather and blackberry on the nose. Soft tannins with a subtle acidity giving very good balance. Hint of spice around notes of blackberry and cedar. Nice finish although not overly long. Pleasantly surprised at how this wine held up after so many years, enjoyed with rib eye steak. A thoroughly enjoyable wine.
