Saturday, March 3, 2018 - Some Wines from the 2018 La Paulée Grand Tasting of 2015 Burgundy (The Fairmont, San Francisco): Lighter color and weight (particularly noticeable right after tasting the Domaine des Croix Corton). Earthy red fruit. Fine, rendered in an elegant style, and a much more typical version than the preceding wine. One that needs time, a comment that did not come up frequently in my red wine notes today.
