Saturday, March 10, 2018 - {screwcap, 13.8} Deep ruby. Olive, bay leaf, basil. Chocolately richness, but always with a curranty, black-tinged leafy cabernet note. Palate is predictable after the nose, but also has medium fine dusty tannins, and some fresh acid. Still has a fairly dense quality though. Medium-weight. Subtle oak. Does finish a little on the warm side. Fills out the palate quite well. Should age well enough for 5-8 years. Priced around A$35, which is perhaps a bit rich for what it is. Just a bit.
