Saturday, March 10, 2018 - Dense and opulent for a Chassagne, typically broad in this vintage. Toasty and gunflinty on the nose, the oak isn't shy. Lemon curd and riper apricot notes with some nice herbaceousness in the mid palate, there's an intense caramel finish. Good acidity and energy here, but feels a bit New World at times.
