The nose is high toned, and i suspect it's VA. Palate is less high toned, but still a bit candied and high toned. You get some of that coastal spice, but it's distracted by the weird fruit quality. I'm going to pop one from my cellar soon -- hoping the 08s aren't cracking up, and this was just an off VA-effected bottle.
