Friday, March 16, 2018 - Deliciously refreshing medium bodied pale coloured young Montlouis, very crisp but not quite bone dry showing lots of citrus fruit, underlying roundness, fine flinty minerals, moreish acidity and backbone. This is very like a Jasnières Gauletteries 2016 but perhaps, from memory, a shade fuller. Like that wine it should acquire more Chenin complexity down the line and hopefully the trade off against youthful exuberance will not be negative. Good+.
