Sunday, March 18, 2018 - Cork just stained at end of rim, no ullage so obviously a bottle in great condition. Deep nose of aged fruit, mulberries. Gorgeous mid body wine of clear age but not entirely tertiary. Very smooth wine, no angular juts or dips in fruit/acidity/tannin. Worth a high rating. 2nd bottle had a damped, muted fruit character with a slight soapy taste to it and wasn't as good - the vagaries of the cork gods. Score is for better bottle.
