I can't comment if it was off, but it was simply boring. I tend to drink this style closer to red wine temp, but also tried it at various temps as it warmed. Personal note, no need to acquire more. I picked up none of the rich oiliness that I look for in its N. Rhone counterparts, it was just meh. Picked it up at auction six months or so ago so no insight on previous storage conditions.
