Saturday, May 5, 2018 - This is a very good wine that is now past its peak. Brown highlights tinge the light ruby color and it has mature flavors, with muted fruit and some astringency. And yet, it remains very appealing. There’s rich mouthfeel and black fruit flavors. It suffered in comparison to the ‘08 we also tasted, which is much younger in every way, so maybe it’s not fair. But don’t wait to drink up.
