Wednesday, May 16, 2018 - Very impressed with this wine. Great QPR. Opened and let slow ox for 60 mins. Drank over the next two hrs. Superb nose. Cranberries, cherries, spices, turned dirt, mushrooms. Dried red fruit. Touch of rose petals. Similarly on the palate. Good acidity, ample earthiness (often missing in CA PN’s). Some savory notes. Great balance. Low alcohol. If only more CA PN’s were like this! Looking forward to revisiting in a yr or so.
