Monday, May 28, 2018 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep red center and orange/puce rims. The high- intensity nose displayed black cherries, tar, roses, wax, and some soil.

In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe with lovely rounded tanin and firm acidity. All of this structure was just noticeable as it was buried in fruit.

I was told that this bottle had been decanted for several hours and it still seemed a bit young. This wine will last for decades and may even improve a point or two. Very impressive!
