Saturday, June 2, 2018 - Delicious magnum! This bottle was in great shape with plenty of life. Deep ruby color with no sign of bricking. A fair amount of sediment, but we poured direct from the bottle regardless. Nose was reserved at first, but opened up into a gentle but complex mix of dark fruits, evergreen and minerality. Blackberries, vanilla, cedar and earth on the palate, with well-seasoned tannins. Lovely.
