Saturday, June 16, 2018 - Pnp. Pours an opaque garnet red in the glass. Nose is brimming with ripe blackberry, huckleberry, black cherry, and allspice. Some black olive pokes through with time. Midpalate is nicely textured and has great acidity to cut through the ripe fruits. This was well made and by no means overdone like more modern takes on Zin. A food wine to be sure and a nice one at that.
