Friday, June 22, 2018 - Decanted 1 hour. Brilliant deep yellow/gold. Rich aromatics start with preserved lemons, some ginger, roasted nuts--all fresh and vibrant. On the palate, this wine is beautifully textured--dense without being heavy--as the complex flavors start with citrus then ripe stone fruit, all lifted by vibrant acidity. The components are all playing well together and the finish is endless but humble. This is a classic but relatively precocious vintage. 94 pts. Drink now through 2022.
