Monday, May 26, 2008 - Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2005 vintage tasting and dinner (Conrad Interntational, Singapore): UGC dinner. Not bad, earth, stewed fruits and smoke on the nose. Quite a bit of power and concentration on the palate, with nice cassis character. Surprisingly soft and low in acid for a 2001. Maybe just lacking bit in elegance for that, but a good for what it is.
