Sunday, July 29, 2018 - This has really hit its stride, and is firing on all cylinders. The nose is rich with blackcurrent and blackberry. On the palate the fruit is combined with cigar box and a robust but resolved tannin. The wine is multi-layed on the palate, and has excellent depth with the finish now much improved from a year ago. A couple of hours in the decanter is appropriate to fully enjoy the wine. This is now at its peak, and can be consumed without guilt, but with a structure to last for a decade plus. 95+
