Sunday, August 19, 2018 - As previously noted, time to drink up. This bad boy is in its sweet spot. Drinking beautifully! inky, with medium- to full-body; silky smooth with a long finish. A little hot upon opening but a 2 hour decant solved that. Be prepared to smell the floral bouquet from the other side of the room! Great dark fruit and vanilla; wonderfully flexible, working with a wide range of rich food with complex flavors, especially a lightly smoked duck with a compote dressing.
