Friday, August 31, 2018 - Deep gold colour with lots of fizz upon pouring that quickly died in the glass. Lots going on aroma wise with fresh mushroom, peanut brittle, cellar funk, dried fruits (apricot and pineapple), caramel, and a finish reminiscent of Sauternes. Soft bubbles still present on the tongue and enough acidity to keep it from being flabby. I’m sure it was a few years past it’s prime but was still a fantastic wine experience to enjoy!
