88 Points

Monday, September 3, 2018 - in the glass, a medium ruby. On the nose and palate, sweet cherry, raspberry and just a hint of oak. It’s tannins are barely discernible and its finish is just too short. All in all, endowed with a flavor profile that's more a lighter-bodied Grenache than a Washington Cab. Suckling's 96-point score for this wine is an affirmation of the subjectivity of wine tasting.

9/3/2018 11:40:00 PM - Suckling's reviews nearly always seem, to me at least, to be 5-8 points too high. I suspect he gets paid for them, it's too frequent and too consistent to be mere chance. (I've never seen him rate a wine LOWER than it should be, it's always the other way around...)
