Thursday, August 23, 2018 - Thought it was time to try a Carlisle PS with a little bottle age but no, the time in the cellar has hardly made a dent in this one. Inky dark PS color. The tannins are still there, but coming into balance and by no means obtrusive. Medium-full bodied with blueberry fruit. Still showing some oak. Opens up nicely to a somewhat fruit forward wine. Still going strong after several days. Drink or hold, hold, hold.
