Monday, September 17, 2018 - Good value and surprisingly smooth for a wine dominated by the quite austere and demanding baga grape, but it is accompanied by the richer and flirtier touriga nacional (and some tinta roriz, syrah and merlot). There are round, pleasing notes of dark berrys, chocolate, herbs and violets on the nose. The palate is mediumbodied plus, with smooth tannins, supporting acid and both dark and red berrys, and with a decent finish with some mineral notes. Very good!
