Saturday, August 18, 2018 - Probably the most enjoyable Barolo / Barbaresco I've had from the 2007 vintage.

A bouquet of dried and fresh flowers, a veritable perfumed garden on the nose. Orange bitters / campari / chinotto. Fine, open weave of tannin. A bit wild and unpolished, which I happen to really like. Oak lurking in the background, not sure of the format here but it's not obtrusive. Really good place right now, though no rush.
