Sunday, September 30, 2018 - Ruby just starting to fade to garnet ,and persistent legs mark this wine's appearance. The nose is medium with aromas of cassis, pencil shavings, sweet cherries, and hints of violets. With quite a full-bodied mouthfeel, there is medium acidity , with flavours of blackberries, blueberries, cooked plums, liquorice and hints of Parma violets. There is a finish of vanilla infused plums. A fresh elegant wine, which will develop over the next five years.
