Sunday, April 8, 2018 - Tasted at the Vinitaly International Academy in Verona. Medium ruby with a hint of purple. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity with notes of black fruit, red fruit, green peppercorn, dried herbs, earth and some oak spices due to two years of aging. The palate is dry, with medium acidity and medium to medium (+) tannins and alcohol. Very good flavor intensity and length. It is barely now entering its optimal drinking window and should continue to show well for several more years.
