Friday, October 12, 2018 - Excited for the new vintage of Oregon's Corton! Fresh and clean this year. Might be better than the 2012 eventually. Tight and a little closed but this will open... oh... it will open. Haunting nose....The definition of mouthwatering juicy acidity, balance and more balance with a pronounced pomegranate, raspberry, black tea and cola notes on top of young tannins. Beautiful wine and a shame to drink it so young. Everything is there. In 50 years Roosevelt vineyard will be one of the world's great pinot sites. It's already one of America's best. 95+ Points
