Community Tasting Note

Saturday, October 13, 2018 - This bottle was opened at an amazing restaurant where it was enjoyed with an 11 course tasting menu. The wine was decanted for approximately 45 minutes and was clear and lighter to mid deep red in colour with a light nose of sweet berries.
In the glass were flavours of not overripe cherries blended with some orange citrus. The tannins and acidity were both quite light but in perfect balance with the alcohol levels and the finish lingered for quite a while. Of course drinking any DRC is a special treat but tonight, this bottle was wonderful and paired perfectly with the meal.
