Wednesday, October 24, 2018 - Tasty! Drank at a local restaurant after a brief decant. Essentially mature with dark ruby color and no sediment.
Obviously a cool climate expression of Bordeaux varietals due to lack of density and viscosity with a decidedly midweight feel.
Nose of prunes, plums, date and mocha.
Sweet spot currently but with 5-10 years fine drinking ahead. Decanting is rewarded so give this 1-3 hours if you can.

If a date, this was a 28 year old with varied passions and interests, but lacking life experience for meaningful conversation.
