Friday, November 16, 2018 - Held this bottle too long. Decanted and gave it lots or air. Cloudy with sweet up-front fruit, but all alcohol finish. It was probably excellent 9 years ago. Lesson learned.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium long. There is moderate amount of sediment in the bottle. It smelled like figs and was reminiscent of an amarone. It tasted a bit like strawberry jam at first with a medium body. The wine had a smooth texture. The wine had a short alcoholy finish with low acidity thoroughout.
