Saturday, November 17, 2018 - Medium to dark yellow with a touch of gold. At initial opening it had a smokey burnt scent and taste which dissipated after about 30 minutes. . Nose also has a nuttiness, honeysuckle and creamy lemon. It seems like it has gone through full Malo. Palate is round with moderate acidity. On the palate there is butterscotch, hazelnuts, crème brûlée, lemon and just a little white peach on the finish. I think this is probably on a gentle downslope going forward. Drink up if you have them as I will with my last bottle.
