Likes this wine:

Sunday, November 18, 2018 - This wine performs just as you would expect for a modest Brunello. Initial funk and brett that blows off leading to aromas of blackberry, violets, matchstick, forest floor, tar. The tannins are still firm and the acidity is pronounced but the fruit hangs in well and I think this could bloom a little more with age. Slightly edgy still but plenty of complex character and a good foil to rich pasta dishes. I plan to drink my last bottle in about ten years.
