Sunday, December 2, 2018 - Stood up for a couple of days. 3-hr decant. A small sip shows a tightly-wound, brooding, big-shouldered wine. With dinner (beef wellington, potato gratin with emmentaler, and flat green beans)and in a bigger glass it comes together very nicely. Still remarkably fresh, with full aromatics, and a full but refreshing feel on the palate. Good tannins with some velvet.
